Show Me
By The100Hands
A disarming performance about watching, showing and being watched
Show me is a dance performance, an exercise in seeing, a reflection on exposing yourself, a play with fiction and reality, a talk show where everyone is a guest.
Together with their audience, three performers explore the do's and don'ts around 'looking, showing and being looked at'. What are the situations where we don't normally 'share' the body and why not?
With references to online (partial) behaviour invites Show Me into a shared experience. Everyone's presence and choices become part of a physical party game, where dormant social codes become visible and give rise to good conversation.
Show Me plays in theatres, alternative venues and festivals.
