crowdkill
Anthony van Gog
crowdkill is a physical experience - for performer and audience alike.
What happens when the body is overwhelmed by space and sound?
What is left when the body no longer finds any point of recognition other than the body itself?
Discover it in a room filled with four huge subwoofers and an intense soundscape to which the body surrenders.
Anthony van Gog has been working for several years on his research into the 'selfless body' - the idea that we humans have no fixed core, but that identity forms by mirroring what happens outside us. Self-development is thus no longer a steadily building development, but a 'falling in all directions, without any foothold, a constantly mutating body'.
