About Force 4
Raifa Bazzi, Jody Geijsendorpher, Leonardo Avantaggiato and Len van der Pol are four interdisciplinary artists, graduated from the Fontys Dance Academy, who combine their different cultures, academic and street dance, film and music in their work. At Makershuis Tilburg and in residence at DansBrabant they are working on research into how they can bring together different dance worlds – from ballet to contemporary to krump – under the influence of music into a new movement language. For their presentation in Club SoDa they use film, movement, photography and self-produced music.

Run, Forest, Run
‘Run, Forest, Run’ is Zuhause’s new cinematographic performance for location. Six characters wind their way into adulthood, each attempting in their own way to be seen, swim against the current and reconnect.

About Zuhause
Zuhause is the platform and home around the creators Davey Bakker and Élénie Wagner. In 2016 the two met as performers at Club Guy & Roni/ NNT in Groningen. With a mix of dance, film, poetry and pop music, Zuhause tells stories about the struggle of our generation, to combat loneliness, to create recognisability and make contact. Fascinated by our impact on Earth, Zuhause creates productions in which different art disciplines are intertwined. Live as well as digital.

Since 2021, the artists of Zuhause can also be found in the East – and a little down South – of the country, from where they launched their short dance film ‘Naar het Blauw’ and made connections with, among others, Hoogte80 festival, TGEcho, De Nieuwe Oost, Luxor Live and DansBrabant. Their new cinematic performance for location ‘Run, Forest, Run’ seals their mission and will this summer premiere during Hoogte80 Festival (Gelderland) and Festival der Aa (Drenthe). At DansBrabant, Zuhause works with 6 performers for 2 weeks on this performance and you can see a first work-in-progress.
