Alesya Dobysh

Motus Sonus is an interdisciplinary experimental project curated by The Netherlands based artist, dancer and choreographer Alesya Dobysh, in collaboration with electronic music composer Max Frimout. This research project explores the relationship between movement, sound, and space.

As part of the Motion Lab opening evening at the Art house of United Cowboys and Urban Dance Days festival, Alesya and Max will present a new experiment. In collaboration with guest artists from various disciplines, they will transform the space into an immersive environment, exploring the interplay between sound, movement, light, and sculptural installation.

The opening evening will also feature a talk with guest speaker, light designer, and performer Erik van de Wijdeven, titled “Designing Light for Dance,” and a presentation of the independent zine release.
